Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known as the lead actor in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to explore the world of acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder where he took classes in acting. He's been featured in films and television, but the small screen characters which earned him fame and an enormous fan base. It is no surprise that his talent is playing characters of both the good and the bad. Also, he knows how attract an audience. The first show he worked on was a TV serial but later he played the part of an NYPD detective. His smaller-screen appearances were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is believed to be his blue eyes, which are considered to be a distinctive feature and are credited with depicting rough characters with charisma. He was named in People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
