Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding supporting actress in an Drama Series. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending Preparatory School. At the end of the 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for several years, before trying out for film and TV parts. Anna had her first big part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. Anna continued to be in film and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. Then she was selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. In the mid 2000's she was placed in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn was also on the stage in a David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn played in a 4-part audio-play podcast named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and their eventual break up echoes end of Walter White's personal life.
